Our teams are led by experts who have been working in their fields for 10 to 35 years.
Sandor Kenyeres, Founder and President
Sandor Kenyeres is the founder and President of Atum Developments.
Mr. Kenyeres first began working in real estate development in 1978. He has led several complex real estate projects, including the creation of the concept for the renovated Buda City Centre in Budapest as well as the development of its key site – the Mammut Shopping Center.
He most recently completed a project on Cyprus called Antara Wellness & Destination Spa, a five star boutique hotel and spa.
Due to his background as an electrical engineer, Mr. Kenyeres actively promotes scientific research by creating and sponsoring the Talentum Prize, an award for young scientists in Central Europe. He also founded the Talentis Group, a development company involved in establishing the educational, research, development, business, residential and leisure elements necessary for creating a Central European Silicon Valley.
Mr. Kenyeres holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Zsolt Szenasi, Chief Executive Officer
Zsolt Szenasi is the Chief Executive Officer of Atum Developments. He is responsible for providing umbrella leadership for the Acquisition, Development, and Sales & Leasing teams.
Mr. Szenasi first began working in real estate development in 1999 in the property valuation department of Price Waterhouse Coopers. He has been involved in several groundbreaking development projects, including as the Development and Sales Manager for the Talentis Project – an ambitious 5,000 hectare development with an estimated 12 Billion EUR value aimed at creating a Central European Silicon Valley.
Mr. Szenasi promotes innovative business thinking by acting as a sponsor for TedX.
Mr. Szenasi holds a Masters in Architectural Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He has been a member of RICS since 2010.
George Voniatis, Country Director
George Voniatis as country manager, actively represents the company in front of governmental authorities, regional officials and local committees. Furthermore he is also responsible to supervise, coordinate and guide all local consultants and partners.
George has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry of Cyprus. As project manager he has successfully completed projects valued more than 100 million euros all over Cyprus. In 2002 he founded his own development and construction company, which since then has been involved in selected projects.
Mr George Voniatis holds a Master in Civil engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Béla Velez, Board member, Director fo MENA region affairs
Gábor Tobiás, Hospitality expert
Currently Gabor is the hospitality and resort expert for the Eden City project in Cyprus as well as responsible for the development of a hotel chain in Europe for Mr. Kenyeres’s Real Estate Investment arm.
For Eden City he coordinates the day to day discussions with the hotel operator selected for the Peninsula phase and he also maintains relationship with other hotel operators for future phases of the resort.
Gabor Tobias has over 12 years of consulting experience mainly from working with KPMG’s Real Estate, Leisure and Tourism Advisory Practice. His assignments included market research, feasibility studies, transaction advisory and real estate valuations in countries all over Europe, Middle East and Africa. At KPMG he was the lead manager on over 70 projects, responsible for a team of five consultants and directly reporting to the department head.
He is a member of RICS since August 2011.
Ákos Teleki, Head of Investments
Ákos Teleki is the Head of Investments responsible for business and financial modelling, cost budgeting, Cash Flow planning, financial feasibility and economic impact study analysis. Akos has 12 years of working experience whereas he spent 10 years with Deloitte as Financial Project Manager coordinating financial due diligences, independent business reviews, buy/sell-side transaction advisory and dispute analysis mandates in relation to both domestic and international transactions of various industry profiles for strategic or financial / private equity investors as well as participation in valuations and business planning.
Akos graduated at the Budapest Business School, College of Finance and Accountancy and holds a Master degree in economics. Akos is a Certified Accountant in Hungary.
Balázs Steiner, Project architect
Balázs Steiner is a project architect for the Eden City Project and for Mr. Kenyeres’ other real estate developments in Hungary.
For Eden City he’s supervising the architectural planning process of the Masterplan and the individual plots in the Masterplan area, interfacing Masterplanner, Architect of Record, Design Architects etc.
Balázs has 11 years of working experience in various fields of architecture and design. He has spent 6 years working for a Budapest-based architect office on large-scale projects including Budapest's recently built metro line and award-winning urban design competitions. He also worked for Hungary's biggest luxury department store as in-house architect and designer responsible for building its fine dining restaurant and branding.
Mr. Steiner holds a Masters in Architectural Engineering from the Budapest University.
